Setting up Single Sign-On (SSO)

Available for the Following Roles*: Company Owner, Company Admin, Company Manager 

Single Sign On (SSO) allows your team members to use a single set of credentials to sign in and access multiple applications and websites. If you have SSO setup, you can require users to log in to cmBuilder using their SSO credentials.

cmBuilder supports Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory) and Okta SSO. Refer to the bottom of this page for links to the specific set up guides.

Please note: this setup process should be done by an IT administrator with experience creating applications in your identity provider account. Only admins can set up SSO for your account.

General setup

1. Log in to your identity provider account.
2. Navigate to your applications. 
3. Have the IT admin give consent to cmBuilder
4. Copy the identifier or issuer URL, SSO URL, and certificate from your identity provider, and paste them into the corresponding fields in the SSO setup side sheet in cmBuilder.
