2.2 Upload and Sync models directly from ACC into cmBuilder

Users can now upload and sync existing models (IFC2x3 and IFC4, RVT, FBX, and STP) on their ACC account directly into cmBuilder. 

Follow the step-by-step instructions below to set up this integration:

Setup Process - cmBuilder:

1. Visit app.cmbuilder.io and log in to your cmBuilder account.
2. Navigate to "Company Settings" > "Integrations."
3. Toggle ON the switch for "Enable Autodesk linking for cmBuilder company and project admins."

Setup Process - ACC:

The ACC admin must grant authorization for their cmBuilder tenant data to establish a connection. To do this: 

1. Log in to your ACC admin account. (Note: ACC admin email and cmBuilder admin email don't need to be the same.)
2. Once logged in, click on "Account Admin" > "Apps."
3. Search for "cmBuilder" and click "Install" to add the cmBuilder app.

Authentication Process - Option 1:

1. Go to the cmBuilder Homepage.
2. Click on the three dots located on a project card you wish to link to an Autodesk project.
3. Select "Link to Autodesk Project."
4. Click "Sign In" on the right-side menu and enter your Autodesk credentials.
5. After authentication, you'll be redirected to the cmBuilder homepage.
6. Once again, click on the three dots on the project card and choose "Link to Autodesk Project."
7. In the first dropdown menu, select your Autodesk company space.
8. Then, choose the Autodesk project from the second dropdown menu.
9. Click "Link Projects."
10. An Autodesk logo will appear on the project card, indicating it's now linked to the Autodesk Project.

Authentication Process - Option 2:

1. Open a cmBuilder project.
2. Under the Project page, click "Documents" in the left-side menu.
3. Go to the "Integration" tab.
4. Click "Link Project with Integration" (or sign in first if you haven't entered your credentials).
5. Select the Autodesk company space and project from the dropdown menu.
6. Click "Link Projects."
7. Models from the linked Autodesk project will now be visible under the "Integration" tab.

Upload Models from ACC to cmBuilder:

1. Open a scenario within the cmBuilder project linked to the Autodesk Project.
2. Go to "Buildings" > "Imported Model."
3. Click "Browse Existing 3D Models."
4. Select the model you want to import.
5. Click "Import" at the bottom.
6. The model will start processing and importing directly from ACC into cmBuilder.
7. Once the import is complete, the model will appear on your site plan.
8. You can also download the model from the "Imported Model" menu on the left.

Sync Models from ACC to cmBuilder:

1. Upload a newer version of your 3D model in ACC (e.g., Version 2).
2. In cmBuilder, open the "Documents" tab; a "Sync Version" yellow card will appear in front of the V1 model with cmBuilder status displayed as "Outdated."
3. Navigate to the "Integration" tab and click the "Sync model from Autodesk" icon in front of the model.

OR

1. Alternatively, open the scenario, go to "Buildings" > "Imported Model," click the three dots on the model card, and select "Sync model from Autodesk."
2. Click "Sync Version" in the next window.
3. cmBuilder will import the new version from Autodesk.
4. Once complete, a "Update available" blue card will appear; click on this card and select "Review."
5. In the next window, review the new parts, and once done, click "Update Version."
6. Confirm the version update in the next window by clicking "Update to New Version."
7. The updated model will appear in the site plan viewer, and the cmBuilder status in the Documents tab for this model will change from "Outdated" to "Ready to Use."
