In this user guide we cover:Â
Adding users to a notification group
đź’ˇNote: Only Company Admins can add users to notification groups; the users must be Admins and Members.
To add a user to either the Subscription notifications or Invitation notifications group:
- In both the Subscription and Invitation notification sections, click the Add user button on the right side.
- From the side sheet that appears click the Add users dropdown (1) and select a user, the user will be added to the User list below (2), click Add (3) to add the listed users. You may add multiple users to the list (2) before clicking Add (3).Â
- When the user(s) has been added to the group they will receive an email notification confirming that they have been added and informing them that they will get emails regarding notifications: either Subscription renewals, upgrade, and upgrade requests, or in the case of being added to the notification user group, they will be notified of users requesting access to Projects.Â
Â
Removing User from a notification group
đź’ˇNote: If a notification group lists only one user, they cannot be removed. Another user must be added first.
- To remove a user from either the Subscription or Invitation notification group, find the user in the list and simply click on the "X" icon button (1) and that user will be removed from the notification group.Â
- Once removed, the user will receive an email notification informing them that they have been taken out of the group and will no longer receive emails regarding either Subscription or Invitation notifications.
A user may also be automatically removed from a notification group if their role or account status changes:
Changed to Guest: If a user’s role Type is updated from Member to Guest, they will be removed from both groups.
No Longer an Admin: If an Admin is reassigned as an Manager, Editor or Collaborator, they will be removed from both groups.
Account Deactivated/Deleted: If the user’s account is deactivated or deleted, they will be removed from both groups.
