A Presentation is the best way to capture and share a cmBuilder Scenario. Presentations are based on Milestones; allowing for multiple Slides or view points per Milestone as well as customizations like user created callouts, measurements, view point transitions and timing settings. Presentations can be shared via a view-only link, slide exports or a video export. Pair with Visual Programs and Animate/Highlight to simulate project progress.

Create Presentations

Creating a presentation involves creating slides, capturing viewpoints as capture angles, adding markups and adjusting time settings.

  1. Access the presentation slides by switching to Presentation mode from the lower-left corner.

    • The Presentation Mode timeline lists each milestone, all of which will contain a Default slide.

    • Before playing the presentation, these slides will need If the presentation is played with only the placeholder slides, the Milestones will cycle and the sequence shown; however, the view will remain static.

  1. To Edit a Slide, select it from the Timeline, and click on the pencil icon or right-click and select Edit slide, a side sheet will appear with Slide details. Edits can include capturing or recapturing a view point, adding callouts or labels, adding measurements or elevation markers, as well as timing changes like Slide transition and Slide duration. Read more about slide edits and markups in user guide sections 🔗8.2 Markups.

💡Note: It's not necessary to capture a view angle for every Slide because the camera will not move automatically. Camera movements are only triggered when the next slide has a different viewpoint.

  • There appears to be a typo under the second bullet point for item #1.

"Before playing the presentation, these slides will need If the presentation is played with only the placeholder slides,..."

What is meant to be between "need" and "If?"
