Setup geo-coordinates for your project to position BIM models in your Scenarios using geolocation

For any of the following, first go to Coordinate system within your Project Workspace.


Add Geo-Coordinates

Here is a step-by-step guide to adding new geo-coordinates for your project:

  1. Click the AddĀ button located next to the Geo-coordinate section.

    A side sheet titled Add new geo-coordinate will appear.

  2. Use the search bar to find the desired coordinate system by entering part of its name or the EPSGĀ code.

  3. Once you've located the correct coordinate system, select it using the checkbox and click Add in the footer.Ā 

  4. The selected geo-coordinate will now appear in the Geo-coordinate table.

Set as geo-coordinate

To select a geo-coordinate system added to be used for geolocation in your Scenarios:

  1. Open the three-dot menu and select Use to Geolocate.

  2. Once a coordinate system is set for geolocation, a blue "Geolocate" tag will appear next to it, making it easy to identify.

Deleting a geo-coordinate

Follow these steps to remove a geo-coordinate added to your project:

  1. Click the 3 dot menu ā†’ select Delete.

You will see a warning modal indicating that this will remove the geo-coordinate system from your project. Click DeleteĀ to confirm.

Note: The position of existing objects in your scenarios will not be impacted.Ā
