To control the visibility or hide/show 2D drawings in your site plan, you can use the following methods:
Method 1: Control Visibility using the 2D Drawing Overlay Shortcut Option:
- Double-click on the desired drawing in your site plan. Alternatively, you can follow these steps:
- Click on "Tree" in the left bar.
- Expand "Drawing Overlay"
- Right-click on the drawing you want to control
- Choose "Edit."
- In the right-side menu:
- Check the box labeled "Disconnect from timeline." This will disable the drawing's connection to the timeline, allowing you to manage its visibility independently.
- Quick Tip: You can adjust the opacity of your drawing by using the 'Opacity' slider or by entering any value between 0 and 100 in the opacity field.
- To temporarily show or hide drawings:
- Access the three dots menu from the top site-plan interface.
- Select "Drawings"
- A list of drawings disconnected from the timeline will appear
- To show a drawing, simply click on its name in the list. The drawing will appear in the viewer with a checkmark symbol in front of it.
- To hide a drawing, click on its name again in the list. The drawing will disappear from the viewer, and the checkmark symbol will be removed from the front.
Method 2: Control Visibility by Sequencing Drawings between Milestones:
- Double-click on the desired drawing in your site plan. Alternatively, follow these steps:
- Expand "Tree" in the left bar
- Select "Drawing Overlay."
- Select the drawing you want to control.
- Choose "Edit."
- In the right-side menu:
- Under the Timeline section, use the "From" and "To" labels to define the first and last milestones during which you want the drawing to be visible.
- Note that the drawing will be visible between all the defined milestones.
- Quick Tip: You can adjust the opacity of your drawing by using the 'Opacity' slider or by entering any value between 0 and 100 in the opacity field.
- To temporarily hide or show a 2D drawing sequenced between milestones:
- Right-click on the drawing and select "Temporary Hide," or select the drawing and press the "H" shortcut key.
- Alternatively, open the model browser, expand the Drawing Overlay node, right-click on the desired drawing, and choose "Temporary Hide," or press "H."
- To reset the temporary hide/show status of the drawing:
- Open the tree and click on the reset temporary hide button located in front of the hidden drawing's name.
- The drawing will then reappear in the viewer.
