5.4 Resource Request

Create a Resource Request to request new Resources to be added to the public catalog -available to all users. Depending on the subscription type, requests are fulfilled between 1-4 business weeks from the time of the request until they are available for use in a Scenario.

Request a Resource

New Resources can be requested at anytime by any user from within cmBuilder. Before requesting a new Resource, consider searching through the catalog for something similar, and checking the available adjustments on any similar Resource as most Resources are adjustable in size, shape or configuration. It is also common to request enhancements to existing Resources via a Resource request. 

1. Click the help icon "?" (1) and select Resource Request (2).

2. Enter the generic name or specific make and model of the Resource you are requesting.
3. Use the description field to mention important requirements or desired features and adjustments.
4. (Optional) Upload a photo, drawing, or specification sheet to help our designers identify and build the requested Resource.
5. Click Submit (3). Your request will be reviewed, someone may reach out with questions.
