Use the Measure Distance tool to measure the distance between two points anywhere within a Scenario.

Measure a Distance

Measurements can be created between BIM Elements, Resources, the Terrain and Earthwork Operations To Measure a Distance between two objects:

1. Click Measure (1) from the Toolbar, then select Measure Distance (2).
2. Select the first point, then select the second point to create the measurement.
3. The measured distance is displayed in the Scenario (3).
   • dX: Distance along the X-axis.
   • dY: Distance along the Y-axis.
   • dZ: Vertical elevation difference between the selected points.
   • Dist: Total distance between the two selected points.
4. To remove all measurements, click Clear All (4).
