Share Links are link that provide view-only access to a scenario for project stakeholders that don't necessarily need to be given access to your cmBuilder space but would benefit from viewing the site plan. Share links will provide access to the latest version of the scenario including any changes or updates to the site plan after the creation of the link. Upon creation of the share link, users can set an expiry date as well as limit the range of milestones recipients of the link will be able to view. 

How To Create A Share Link

A share link must be created from the scenario page. There is no limit to the number of share links created per scenario.

1. Click the blue Export/Share button (1) in the upper right hand corner. From the side panel that appears click Share live link (2), a new side panel will appear titled Share live link. 
   
   
   
2. From the Share live link side panel choose desired settings from the Share link tab (1):
   • To set an an expiry date, select the Set expiration date box (2) then set an expiry date from the date dropdown. An expiry date is optional. 
   • By default a Share Link allows viewers to see (but not edit) the scenario's Tree, the Presentation and Slides, take measurements and view the Project Schedule. However, by selecting Milestone presentation mode and choosing start and end milestones the link will launch the Scenario in Presentation Mode and only the milestones with the range will be viewable.
     
     
3. The Visual settings tab lists the visual properties that are applied to the scenario -they are pulled from the settings you have active in your current session.
4. Click Confirm to save your preferences and the link will automatically be copied to your clipboard.
