đź’ˇNote: If you are the account owner and already have access to cmBuilder, skip this step. If you are the first Administrator to create an account, ask the account owner tođź”—invite you to join.

To be able to access and edit Projects you will need a cmBuilder account. If your organization already has a cmBuilder subscription, ask your company Admins to invite you in. The invitation will be sent via email.

  1. Look for an invitation email from cmBuilder in your inbox. Open the Invitation.

  2. The email will contain a link to "GO TO CMBUILDER" which when clicked will both open cmBuilder in a new browser tab and activate your personal cmBuilder account at the same time.

  3. Create Your Account: Click on the link and follow the on-screen instructions to set up your account. This will include creating a password if your company has not set up SSO (Single Sign on using your company login credentials).

  4. Access Your Organization's Workspace: Once your account is set up, you'll have access to your organization's Company Workspace, where you can start collaborating on projects and scenarios.

Optimize Performance

As soon as you gain access to cmBuilder it is recommend to modify a browser setting for the best user experience. By default internet browsers cannot use the extra processing power offered by a GPU (dedicated graphics card), however this can be changed within the browser's settings, see below. A computer with a dedicated GPU is not required to run cmBuilder, but a GPU will help with performance.

User Settings

On your first visit, make sure to set your user settings for preferred units, precision and more. By default the company settings will be applied to all users. but each user's preferred settings will override the company applied settings. Click your initials (1) then select User Settings (2). Under the General tab (3) you will find time, date, unit preferences and more. After making changes, click the confirm button (4) and the changes will take effect immediately, no need to refresh.
