The Timeline, located at the bottom of the screen, provides an intuitive way to view and navigate all Milestones within a Scenario across different phases of work: editing the site plan, creating the presentation, and viewing the presentation. It also serves as the central interface for creating and editing Presentation Slides, adjusting Presentation settings, and launching Presentation Mode.
In this article we cover:
Site plan navigation mode
Site plan navigation mode is the default mode in which users edit the Scenario—add resources, create annotations, etc. Site plan edit mode can be activated by clicking the tower crane icon in the lower-left corner (1).
Navigate to a specific Milestone via the horizontal slider and selecting it from the Milestone section (2); the active Milestone is highlighted with a blue glow.
New Milestones can be added by clicking the “+” button (3), or via the options inside the 3 dots button.
To edit a Milestone's name or date click hover over the Milestone and click the 3 dots button that appears.
Use the forward and back arrows (4) to step through the Timeline one Milestone at a time.
Adjust the scale/width of Milestones in the Timeline by using the zoom slider (5).
The auto-scale button (6) will automatically fit Milestones within the Timeline view.
💡 Note: In the site plan navigation mode will not display any Presentation Visuals. Switch to the Presentation Edit mode to see presentation visuals.
Presentation edit mode
Presentation edit mode allows users to scrub through the presentation, while creating and editing Presentation Slides. Presentation edit mode can be activated by clicking the Play Presentation icon in the lower-left corner (1).
The Timeline displays the full schedule—both Milestones and Presentation Slides—via the horizontal slider.
Navigate to a specific Slide by selecting it from the Slides section (2); the active Milestone and Slide are highlighted with a blue glow. Slides with transition and duration thumbnails have Capture Angles applied.

Click the play button (4) to preview the presentation.
Click, hold, and drag the scrubber handle (5) forwards or backwards, the 3D Scenario updates in real time.
Adjust the scale/width of Milestones with the Zoom slider (6), or hold "Ctrl" + scroll up or down.
