Custom Section takes a section cut of objects such as building models, and the terrain.
To create a custom section:
- Click Measure from the tool set
- Select Custom Section
- Click on a surface to create a section on the selected plane
- Or, select from either the X, Y, or Z section
- Drag the arrow handle in the direction of axis to adjust section cuts
Tips & Tricks:
- Double click the Transparent Plane to adjust the Section
- To delete a section plane, right-click on the Plane and select Remove
- Alternatively, click Clear All located at Measure tool from the command bar to remove the section plane and all other measurements in the model
- Click Hide/Show Slice Area from the command bar to display or or hide the cut surface
💡Note: Only one section cut can be made at a time.

Is it possible to save a section as part of a slide? For example, I have to add resources to an large interior space that is stepped (theater) to show sequence. It would be beneficial to have a section be saved to a slide so as I go back and forth between milestones, I do not have to re-apply a section at a different elevation for each view.
